IX.7.5. Visa and return of the TIR Carnet to its holder

Article 279, section 4, of the AE

The destination customs office must endorse the TIR Carnet by completing matrix no. 2 and keeping sheet no. 2. After the visa has been issued, the customs office of destination will return the TIR Carnet to the TIR Carnet holder or his representative.

Comments on Article 28 of the TIR Convention

The customs office of destination shall enter the message "Control results" (IE018) in the NCTS and submit the data as set out in section IX.5.7.
