4.2. Taxpayer services

In order to promote voluntary compliance with tax obligations, the Tax Agency deploys a wide range of information and assistance services to the taxpayer, for the most part, online (through the portal www.agenciatributaria. es and the electronic headquarters www.agenciatributaria.gob.es ).

However, although Internet has become the main communication channel with taxpayers, the Tax Agency maintains both personal attention to taxpayers at its branches and the helpline for certain basic services.
