Customs: Sending digital documents

In 2019, the web service for sending digital documents for customs declarations was launched. This service allows the operator to attach digitalized documents automatically, without having to enter the Tax Agency headquarters where this action is carried out manually. In principle, it is designed for import declarations and may be extended, in the future, to other customs declarations.

Tax Agency App

During 2019, the Tax Agency launched new features for its Tax Agency app, with the aim of making it not only an application to inform taxpayers according to their profile, but also to allow them to carry out a wide variety of procedures. The presence of mobile applications in markets and new features have allowed for a substantial increase in app downloads. The result is that, as of December 31, 2019, 1,719,373 taxpayers had downloaded the new app, compared to 1,507,136 taxpayers in 2018, which represents an increase of 14.08%.
