No. Because residents of Spain are not permitted to drive vehicles with foreign license plates, imported vehicles must be registered upon arrival in Spanish territory. Owners have a 30-day limit to register the vehicle in Spain, however, it is possible to obtain temporary license plates at the DGT, until the procedure is completed.
