The fishing permits requested by SIGCPI Prior to January 10, 2026 (and those still being requested through that channel), they may continue to be used for the import of fishery products, as long as they have an authorized quantity. To do this, the following must be included in the customs declaration, in Data Element (DE) 1203 Supporting Document:

• 1311: with the fishing authorization number, issued by the competent authority by SIGCPI. Example: ESIM2026123456.

For fishing authorizations issued by CATCH, the following must be included in the customs declaration, in Data Element (DE) 1203 Supporting Document:

• C673: indicating the import certificate number (fishing authorization) obtained in CATCH when validating the catch certificate, for example CATCH.IM.ES.ES.2026.1234567.
