Using XML messaging, the transmission is carried out over the Internet through web services that employ the SOAP protocol, with the only requirement being in possession of a user certificate (electronic signature) granted by one of the authorized Certification Authorities.

It is possible to know the status of a declaration shipment as long as it has been received in the Customs information system. For security purposes, only tax returns filed by the holder of the certificate can be viewed.
