4.2. Taxpayer services
In order to encourage voluntary compliance with tax obligations, the Tax Agency provides a wide range of information and assistance services to taxpayers, mostly via the Internet (through the portal www.agenciatributaria.es and the electronic office www.agenciatributaria.gob.es ).
However, although Internet has become the main communication channel with taxpayers, the Tax Agency maintains both personal attention to taxpayers at its branches and the helpline for certain basic services.
