4.1. Prevention of tax and customs fraud. Taxpayer assistance
In order to promote voluntary compliance and prevent non-compliance with tax and customs obligations, the Tax Agency deploys a wide set of information and assistance services to the taxpayer, for the most part, online (through the portal www.agenciatributaria.es and the electronic headquarters www.agenciatributaria.gob.es ).
However, although the Internet has become the main communication channel with taxpayers, the Tax Agency maintains both in-person attention to taxpayers in its offices and telephone attention for certain services.
