Planning and operational strategy of Customs Surveillance
In accordance with Law 58/2003, of December 17, General Tax, in its article 116, Tax Control Plan, the Tax Administration will annually prepare a Tax Control Plan that will be reserved, although this will not prevent it from being made public. , through the Official State Gazette, the general criteria that inform it. Through this Tax Control Plan, the different Annual Objective Plans that each of the Departments that make up the Tax Agency must meet will be established.
Regarding the operational strategy, it covers 4 large areas:
- Tobacco smuggling.
- Analysis and investigation of commercial traffic.
- Maritime control: surveillance, intelligence and investigation.
- Patrimonial and economic analysis and research.
