In-person registration in the Cl@ve system (advanced level)

The Cl@ve electronic identification platform provides usage coverage to the different organizations of the State Public Administrative Sector.

Registration in this electronic identification system can be done online from the Cl@ve procedures with CSV (after requesting an invitation letter), with video identification using the APP Cl@ve (currently only for Spanish citizens with a valid DNI ) or with a digital signature (certificate or electronic DNI ).

In case you wish register in person, it must be done by going to an authorized registration office.

You can request an appointment to register at our offices by calling 91 333 5 333 from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (until 3 p.m. in August) or from the "Assistance and Appointment" section of the Electronic Office. If you wish to go to an office of another organization, use the office search engine available on the General Access Point portal.

From the APP Cl@ve you also have access to the information necessary for in-person registration.

To register in person, you must The physical appearance of the interested party is essentialTherefore, you must appear in person with your ID card / NIE. This procedure cannot be carried out through representation or by means of a power of attorney.

In the face-to-face appointment must contribute:

  • His ID card either NIE, with the validity or issue daterespectively.

Minors must be accompanied by their ID card in force, accompanied by the person who exercises parental authority with the documentation that proves their identity and parental authority (family book).

Foreign citizens must prove their identity by presenting documentation issued by the competent authorities of their country of origin: passport or travel document.

Access the "Assistance and Appointment for Individuals" service and enter the required data ( DNI / NIE and your first and last name). Then click "Next".

Next, select "Other procedures" and, in the appointment service selection section, check "Electronic identification," "Registration in Cl@ve".

Once you have entered the province or postal code, the appointment application will offer you the option to download the app. Cl@ve with which you can register using video identification (temporarily only available for ID card), which allows citizens to register remotely, without the need to travel and with a full guarantee of security, or select an appointment at the Administration or Delegation closest to your home.
