Incorrect reference message
If when you access Renta WEB with a reference number and receive the message “Incorrect reference”, check that the characters, letters and numbers, are clearly distinguished.We remind you that the reference is composed only of 6 alphanumeric characters.
Access the request for a new reference from the "I have no reference" button.There is no limit to the number of requests until the following year's campaign and references can be requested for several users.
The application for the reference for Renta 2022 can be requested with the amount of box 505 of the Renta 2021 tax return, which corresponds to the amount of the "Base liquidable general subjected to taxation" and also with Cl@ve PIN or electronic certificate/DNI .
Enter the relevant data, DNI/NIE and the contrast data requested by the identification system.
In the case that you indicate a NIE, the information that will be requested will be the support number that appears on the document.You can display the help links "How to obtain the support number...", which explain how to find this information on the foreigner's card, residence permit or EU citizen's certificate from EU and how to enter it correctly in the form.For more information on the support number, you can also consult the help point "Enter a valid support" (How to enter the support number).
If it is a NIF without a validity date, type K, L, M, the information you must provide is the date of birth shown on your document.
When you click "Continue" the application will offer different alternatives depending on the DNI or NIE indicated, recognising whether or not it is registered in Cl@ve so that you can use this alternative identification system.
Once you have logged in, either with box 505 or with Cl@ve PIN, the reference will appear on the screen.It consists of 6 characters and you will be able to use it when you access subsequently or request a new one whenever you wish.
