You can make a backup copy of the data contained in the Information Platform by accessing the "Backup..." option in the "Tools" menu at the top of the program. To use this tool it is necessary that no model is open.
Select all those models that contain data and that you want to copy, press the button identified with a folder icon and select the directory where the backup will be saved. Then click "Next" to start the copying process.
The file containing the copied data will have by default the name "YYYYMMDDhhmmss" (which indicates the exact year, month, day, hour, minute and second in which the copy was made) and the extension .bckpi. However, you can assign another name to the backup and decide the path in which to save this file.
It is possible to recover this file at any time through the "Restore backup..." option in the "Tools" menu of the platform. Please note that if data already exists in the program for the models included in the backup to be restored, this data will be replaced by the data contained in this backup.
Press the folder icon to select the file you want to recover with the backup.
Select the model or models you want to recover and click "Next".
If the data is restored successfully, a message will appear saying "Backup restored successfully."
For more information about making a backup copy of the data from the Information Platform, consult the information available in the program help from the "Help", "Platform Help", "Backup" and "Restore backup" menus. ".
You can also save the "data" folder located in the program installation path (by default the Platform is installed in C:\aeat\Informativas). The folder will be in the path where the program was installed. Copy this "data" folder, for example, to the Desktop.
In this way you will have generated a backup copy of all the Informative statements that you have stored on the computer and you will be able to recover them if changes occur in the database that damage the existing information.
If you only want to keep the data of a certain model, you will have to copy the folder corresponding to that model that is located within the "data" folder and which you can identify as follows: model, exercise and version; for example, "19020161.00".
For example, if you need to move the data to another computer, install the Information Platform, add the models you need and paste the copy of the "data" folder to replace the original (empty) "data" folder in the path where you installed the program.
It must be taken into account that, if the files generated for electronic filing are saved, it is possible that the returns can also be recovered later using the option "Import records with BOE format".
If what you want is to save a copy of the declarations to print them, you can also save the "Imp PDF " folder located in this same path, where, by default, the files are stored PDF ##2##that have been generated with the help program or the folder that you have established in its place from the "Tools", "User Preferences", "General", "Platform" option.
