Browser compatibility with electronic ID

The DNIe (in any of its versions) is not compatible with:

  1. Firefox, for procedures that use Java when signing in any operating system.
  2. Double signature in procedures that use Java in any browser or operating system.

In these cases you can obtain the FNMT certificate using your DNIe or register with Cl@ve PIN if the procedure you need to do allows this identification system.

The DNIe 3.0 is not considered compatible in environments:

  1. Windows XP or Windows Vista: indicated in the reference guide of the DNIe 3.0 published on dnielectronico.es
  2. MacOSX versions prior to Yosemite: indicated by soporte.sacdni@policia.es
