Access to the form for form 303 requires identification with a certificate or electronic DNI , or by means of the Cl@ve PIN system.
Form 303 includes the Pre303 help service that facilitates the completion of the tax return.This service has general functionalities for all taxpayers and specific ones for certain profiles.Therefore, certain pre-filled boxes are offered and taxpayers can directly consult and update tax-related census data, eliminating discrepancies that can cause delays in the processing of a refund application or the initiation of a verification procedure.
In order to access the Pre303 service, if you have not accessed with the declarant's identification, you must be authorised to carry out the Pre303 procedure.When a third party accesses the form and does not have this power of attorney, they will be shown a link that can be sent to the holder of the self-assessment, who can directly register the necessary power of attorney to access all the utilities offered by the Pre303 service.
This service includes the "VAT TAX REGISTER WINDOW", self-filling "IDENTIFICATION" boxes and access to "MY VAT TAX REGISTER DETAILS".
After identification, fill in the required data in the initial window:NIF, Surname and first name or company name and select the year and period.Then press "Send".
You will access the "Census Window VAT", which shows the information valid in the accrual period on the VAT and the IRPF.At the top, you will find the available options:"Consult and/or modify My VAT Tax Registry Data" and "Continue with the filing of form 303".For each activity there is a magnifying glass icon to check the details of the address where each activity takes place.

The corresponding census data from VAT will be shown and you can modify them from the link "To modify these data (Registration, Cancellation) click here" or by presenting form 036 - 037 for any other aspect of a census nature.
Continue with the Presentation of Form 303:
If you have previously modified the census data VAT, when accessing the form for form 303 to complete the return, a warning will appear indicating the need to update this data in the form.
In the initial window you have 2 options:"Import" a file created with a third-party programme whose design is in accordance with the one published on the website or obtained with the form by means of the "Export" button (which appears when formalising the payment/return) or register a "New declaration" and fill it in directly on the form.
If you have worked and saved a previous session that matches the declarant's NIF , the application will allow you to continue with it, import a file or generate a new declaration.
At this point you will be informed whether it is possible to import the registration books from VAT.
You will then access the "Identification" section of form 303.Make sure that the information shown is correct, if you later need to modify the data, go to the option "My Census Data VAT" in the upper button panel.
The header of the form displays the main identification data:year, period, NIF, name and surname or company name.You can consult the data filled in for the declaration by clicking on the button with the symbol of two people together "Datos Identificativos".
Fill in the economic data of the declaration.You can easily access them by using the button "Sections" or the arrows on the button panel.In general, the sections are those corresponding to the "General System" or "Simplified System", "Additional Information" and "Result".
From the keypad you have access to different functions:
"Preview", to obtain a draft in PDF with the data already filled in.Remember that it is not valid for filing the tax return but can be used for consultation.
"Validate tax return", to check for notices or errors in the completion of the tax return.Remember to check the notices, although they do not prevent you from filing your tax return.If the tax return contains errors, these must be corrected.
- "Save", to store the tax return data on the AEAT servers.If a tax return has been saved previously, it will be overwritten.When you access the model again, it will detect that a saved session exists and you will be able to retrieve the data.
"Submit declaration", to proceed with the submission of the declaration.
If there are no errors, you can file the declaration.If the result is a direct debit and the payment is not made by direct debit, you must first obtain the NRC and then submit the self-assessment.NRCs are Complete Reference Numbers, 22-character codes provided by the banks that serve as receipt of payment.From the form itself you can connect to the payment gateway to automatically generate a NRC with the data contained in the declaration.From the link "Make payment (obtain NRC)" you link to the payment gateway to generate the payment with the data you have entered in the form.
Once you have entered the NRC in the field "Reference Number NRC", click on "Sign and Submit".
Form 303 also includes the option of payment by transfer from a bank account of a non-collaborative bank, choosing "Acknowledgement of debt and payment by transfer" from the drop-down menu "Select the type of return".
As a new feature, if the result of your tax return is an income and the filing is for a quarterly period, you can choose "Document for payment in Bank/Cashier" as the form of payment. Once the tax return has been confirmed and filed using form 303, the payment document will be generated to print and make the payment in a collaborating entity, Bank or Cashier's Office.Therefore, the tax return will be filed electronically but pending payment at the offices of the collaborating entities, bank or savings bank.
In the header you will see the message "Your tax return has been filed successfully" and a notice indicating that you should make payment at a financial institution with the deposit document.
In this same window "Formalise deposit/return" you can obtain a file in the format BOE, which follows the published register design of the declaration, using the button "Export".
Finally, a window appears with the information of the codified tax return and the data of the presenter and the taxpayer.Check the "Agree" box and click "Sign and Submit" to finalise the submission.
If everything is correct, the answer sheet will open with the message "Your submission has been successful" and an embedded PDF containing a first sheet with the information of the submission (registration entry number, Secure Verification Code, receipt number, day and time of submission and details of the submitter) and, on the following pages, the complete copy of the declaration.
In the cases with acknowledgement of debt, on the reply sheet of successful returns, a link will be displayed to which to submit the deferral or compensation request.Click on "Process debt".Subsequently, the settlement details will appear with the debtor details and the settlement code.Select one of the available options to continue:defer, clear or pay.
