Substances that deplete the ozone layer
According to Regulation (EC) 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer (ODS) , the production, import and export of ozone-depleting substances included in its Annex I are prohibited. However, there are a number of exemptions and exceptions to this prohibition, which require obtaining a license or authorization.
You can contact the General Subdirectorate of Air Quality and Industrial Environment, whose contact email address is: ozone@marm.es
Licences for the production, import and export of ozone-depleting substances (ODS) must be requested through the European Commission's main ODS database, which can be found in Useful links.
