Incident How to obtain a copy of the previously generated NIF card

If an ID card has recently been generated from procedure "Obtaining a new ID card for NIF " but the receipt could not be viewed or the secure verification code ( CSV ) was not noted for comparison, it is possible that when trying to generate it again, the request will be rejected with the message "The card has already been generated today, you can print it with the CSV assigned at the time of generation" .

In this case, you can recover the previously generated accreditation card by accessing "Consult notifications and communications" , with an electronic certificate or Cl@ve.

If the declarant does not have an electronic certificate, it is necessary that the person making the submission be authorized to submit declarations on behalf of third parties, either by being registered as a collaborator or by being authorized to carry out this procedure.

Indicate the corresponding filters and press "Search" . In the list of notifications and communications, locate the communication whose concept is "Card issuance NIF " and click on "Certificate number" to access the details and obtain the card.

After checking the user and communication data, click on "View communication" to obtain the document PDF issued with the NIF accreditation card

You can save and print this document and use the secure verification code ( CSV ) that it contains to verify it using option "Document verification using secure verification code"
