Processing service for draft tax return 2021 (Renta WEB)
In the "Draft/return processing service (Renta WEB) 2021" the taxpayer of any type of income will have access to the Income Tax services that are currently enabled, in addition to the links to the procedures and enquiries of that financial year.
Click on "Draft/return processing service (Renta WEB) 2021" and enter your DNI or NIE for log in with Cl@ve or with the reference number of the current campaign, or log in with Cl@ve Móvil and scan the QR with the Cl@ve app, or use the link "Access with a certificate or electronic DNI to identify yourself with an electronic certificate or DNIe.
Then, validate the Income Tax reference number, confirm the verification code with the Cl@ve app, identify yourself with the PIN or select your digital signature. Then enter if you are acting on your own behalf or as a representative and click on "Confirm."
If you are acting on your own behalf, you will have access to the file directly, where you will have the following information:
- The status of the tax return processing.
- The available services, including consulting tax data, census data or consulting and filing the draft/return (Renta WEB).
- The file's history where all the file's statements have been recorded and, if it is already filed, obtain a copy of the tax return filed from the link "Record of the tax return..."
If you use access as a representative, the details of the person represented for whom you are going to act are requested.
If you have registered a power of attorney for this Tax ID that allows you to view and prepare Income Tax, you will access the file.
If you are a social partner, to access the Income Tax file, you must provide the Income Tax reference that is valid for that taxpayer.
Once in the file, in "Available Services," click on "Draft/Return (Renta WEB)" to process the tax return; If you have already accessed Renta WEB at any other time, in a pop-up window you will be informed of the existence of a previous tax return, which you can recover from the "Continue session" option, modify a tax return from "Modify tax return filed" or start a tax return filed new processing from "New tax return", adding the tax details again. You can also choose the co-official language in which you wish to make the tax return.
If it is the first time you log in, the taxpayer's identification details and the rest of the family unit's components will be displayed on the first screen. If it contains incorrect or inaccurate data or some specific data has been omitted, you must first modify it. Please note that the marital status and if you have children under the age or legally disabled who are subject to extended or renewed parental authority are data that cannot be subsequently modified.
If there is a spouse, to transfer their details, click on "Authorise spouse" and enter the reference of the current financial year or Cl@ve of the spouse. If you do not wish to enter the spouse's tax details, you must tick the box to calculate the individual tax return.
By clicking on the icon with a pencil symbol, you can modify or enter new members in the family unit. To delete them, click on the aspa icon. Once the details have been filled in, click "Accept" at the bottom.
After accepting the identification data screen, if the application detects that additional tax data must be transferred to the tax return, follow the instructions of the following windows to add this information. If you do not need to add additional information to generate the tax return, you will have access to the results summary directly from where you can check the result of the tax return for each type and complete the tax return, if necessary.
In the Summary of tax returns you have an additional menu from which you can file the tax return, view the tax details allocated for each taxpayer or download a PDF with the preview of the tax return generated. To view it correctly, you will need to have a PDF file viewer installed on your computer
At the top you will have other options:
- "Continue the tax return" from where you can review and continue filling in the tax return.
- "Personal details" where you will see the personal and family details included in the tax return.
- "See transferred data" you can check the details that have been added to the tax return, those that have not been added and the notes on the incorporation.
- "Save" lets you save the session you have been working on. It is saved on the remote server of the Tax Agency Please note that when saving it will be overwritten on the previous saved tax return.
- From the video camera icon, you can link to the various 2021 Income help videos.
- "Help" from which you will access the 2021 Income Tax manual.
When continuing with the tax return, in the "Sections" button you will be able to access the different sections of the tax return and by clicking on the commands with arrows to move between the pages. Before filing the tax return, check whether it contains errors when completing it by clicking on the "Validate" button. If you need to go to a specific box or a statement item, click on the magnifying glass icon to help you search.
From this window you can access the results summary or "File tax return" to complete the tax return process.
Select how you want to file the tax return, individually or jointly.
First, select the type of tax return you want to file. If the tax return has a result to be returned, check the IBAN code of the account in which you wish to make the refund. By default, the IBAN account indicated in the previous year will appear; However, you can change it on this screen. You can also select an IBAN account opened abroad for the refund (EU/SEPA).
If the tax return results in a payment, you can select one of these payment options:
"Electronic payment." In this case you can opt for three payment methods:
Payment charged to account. Connect with the payment gateway to obtain the NRC at that time, loading the amount into the account indicated.
Payment with credit/debit card. Connect with the payment gateway to obtain the NRC at that time using a credit or debit card.
Enter NRC if you have paid for your online banking. You must make the full payment from your bank by generating the NRC payment receipt, either at your branch office or by online or telephone banking. You must then enter the NRC in the box "Reference number NRC."
"Document to deposit with Bank/Cash." It allows you to obtain the payment document to pay in the Bank or Savings Bank. This option will enable the tax return to be filed electronically but pending payment in the financial institution.
Other payment methods. For example, the recognition of debt with impossibility of payment or deferral requests, among others. You can also opt for "Debt recognition and payment by transfer," for citizens who have accounts open in a NON-COLLABORATING entity when collecting taxes from the Tax Agency. In this case, the payment will be considered to be made on the date on which the transfer is received by the Tax Agency.
After selecting the payment method, click "Accept" to file the tax return.
If you select "Electronic payment" and "Payment charged to account" or "Payment with credit/debit card" brands, you must obtain the NRC through the Tax Agency payment gateway, if you mark "Enter NRC if you have paid for your online banking "you must complete the NRC in the corresponding box.
In addition, if you select "Other payment methods," you can opt for debt recognition with impossibility of payment, deferral application or transfer payment if your bank is not a collaborating entity.
Finally, click "Accept" to file the tax return online; Then mark the "OK" box and click "Sign and send" to complete the filing process.
