Presentation of Summary Unloading Declarations
Order EHA/1217/2011 establishes that Summary Declarations of Temporary Storage (DSDT) must be presented electronically. The standard EDIFACT must be used for these purposes, following the specifications in the Technical Guidelines stated below.
In sea trade, the DSDT must be presented through the Port Authority in accordance with Order EHA/1217/2011. This Authority is tasked with developing and publishing the corresponding technical guidelines.
EDIFACT/CUSDEC files are sent via Internet, with the only requirement being that they are electronically signed in compliance with the requirements of Order HAP/800/2014.For more information on how to obtain and use them, see the corresponding section at link.
It is possible to know the status of a declaration consignment, provided that it has been received in the Customs information system. To access the enquiry, one of the electronic identification systems listed in Order HAP/800/2014 must be used. For security reasons, only shipments made by the certificate holder can be viewed.
There are also consultations at the electronic headquarters of the declarations already accepted that the declarant can make, as well as consultations of certain DSDT data of interest to other operators, which they can access with their own electronic signature.
