Single Administrative Document (DUA) Presentation
In order to facilitate presentation of declarations and make it easier for operators to meet their tax obligations, the Tax Agency's Customs and Excise Duties Department offers taxpayers the possibility of presenting their customs declarations online. Operators have the following options available to them:
- Using a Telecommunications system, and using the EDIFACT standard, it is possible to electronically submit the Single Administrative Document in Import, Export, Export+Transit and Transit Expedition operations.
- The presentation of the export declaration through the web form available in this electronic office (registration DUA form: https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/en_gb/aduanas/entrada-salida-mercancias/exportacion.html ). There is a similar form available for presenting imports declarations. These can only be used by private individuals.
The EDIFACT/CUSDEC file is sent and the form is presented online, with the only requirement being to hold a user certificate (digital signature) granted by one of the Certification Authorities in accordance with Order HAC/1181/2003.
For more information on how to obtain and use it, go to "Computer Consultations" https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/en_gb/ayuda/consultas-informaticas/firma-digital-sistema-clave-pin-tecnica.html on this page.
You can find out the status where you will find a customs declaration sent online, provided it has been received in the Customs information system. To access the query it is necessary to have installed a valid user certificate issued by one of the Certification Authorities according to Order HAC/11881/2003. For security purposes, only tax returns filed by the holder of the certificate can be viewed.
