Consultation of applications for a NIF for a minor

Financial institutions that use the procedure for requesting NIF for a minor can check which applications they have made and what stage of processing they are in from the service " Query of applications for NIF for a minor by a credit institution " available in the list of procedures for form 030.

To view existing requests, you can filter by several criteria: select the NIF of the minor's legal representative, the date range for registering the application and whether or not the NIF has already been assigned.

If in column " NIF of the minor" the field is blank, it means that the NIF is still being processed. If the NIF has already been assigned, it will appear in the same column. You can consult the NIF and obtain this detail along with the link to the acknowledgment of receipt of the request by clicking on the registration number.

It is also possible that the expression "Error" appears in the column "Status" which means that there is some issue with this request:
