NIF application for a minor by credit institution

Credit institutions can request the NIF of a minor electronically, through the service "Request for NIF for a minor by a credit institution." credit".

To access the procedure, you must use the electronic certificate of the entity that has signed a social collaboration agreement with the Tax Agency for the electronic presentation of declarations, communications and other tax documents on behalf of third parties or the certificate.

This option (Request for NIF for a minor by a credit institution) is enabled only for banking entities. The presentation of the application is not valid in other cases, so the presentation will not have any legal validity if it is not the banking entity that presents this form.

Complete the application through the Telematic Registry and attach the required documents.

In principle, one of these two documents would be attached: the family book, specifically the pages that show the owner or owners of the family book and the child for whom the NIF or the minor's birth certificate is requested.

To do this, in the "Add file" link, select the file with the required information and click "Send query". The file will have been uploaded in the "Attached Documentation" section; To attach more documents, click "Include another part" to link it to the already attached file or "Add file" to select a different one.

Once completed, click "Submit". A summary of the data will then be displayed; If everything is correct, click "Sign and Send". Finally, the response sheet will be generated with the CSV associated with the submission by registration and the link to the submission receipt in PDF .
