Deduction for expenses and investments of forestry companies (DA 5ª and DA 13ª Law 43/2003).

- Scope of application

This deduction may be applied by forestry companies in force since 20 October 2015 and which are defined in the fifth additional provision of Law 43/2003, of 21 November, on Forestry as those groups of owners of plots of land susceptible to forestry use who assign to these companies the rights of forestry use indefinitely or for a period of time equal to or greater than twenty years.

- Amount of the deduction

The thirteenth additional provision of the aforementioned Law 43/2003 establishes that these forestry companies may deduct from the full amount of corporate income tax 10 per cent of the expenses or investments made in the tax period for the conservation, maintenance, improvement, protection and access to the forest.
