If error "Tax code of the procedure or tax return cannot be identified by the Tax Agency” appears, check that you have entered the Tax code or corporate tax code and the first and last name or company name correctly.
If you have a digital signature (electronic certificate or DNIe) you can check whether your data is correctly recorded in the Tax Agency register from the option "Checking a third-party NIF for register purposes” available in the procedures for form 030.
Remember, you can go to the electronic procedures for the different forms available from the option “All formalities” on the website.
Enter the tax code and the first surname (or the first word of the company name).If you enter your first surname and do not access your details, also check what happens if you enter the rest of your name.
To complete the procedure, you must enter the details in the same way and in the same order as the register (first surname, second surname, first name or company name).

If you have an electronic certificate or are registered in the system Cl@ve PIN, you can also check these details in the Tax Labels, which you can consult in the E-Office, in the section "All procedures", "Other services".Only for individuals on the taxpayer register.
If you are not registered or your details are incorrect
To be able to complete procedures from the Tax Agency website you must be registered as a taxpayer.If you are not registered and not listed in the Tax Agency databases, you can file form 030 "Tax register declaration for registration in the Taxpayers register, change of address and/or change of personal details".
Form 030 is also used to notify changes in identification details, address, as well as personal and family details, for example, marital status, birth of children, change in level of disability, etc.
You can submit it only to change your details from the “Modification or submission” option located in the form 030 formalities.
You can also obtain the form in PDF format for paper filing from the link in the "Information" section next to the list of Form 030 procedures.Here you can "Download the form".You can file form 030 directly at the Tax Agency office for your tax address, or send a printed copy by post to that address or submitting it using the “Form 030.Extraordinary submission procedure - remote" option.You will need to file on paper if the procedure is registration in the tax register.

Furthermore, if the certificate used is an authorised agent certificate, you can register a DNI or NIE online in the Taxpayer Register held by the Tax Agency using the link "Form 030.Register of individuals with DNI or NIE by authorised agents" located in the formalities of form 030.
Also, if you have a private individual electronic certificate with DNI or NIE assigned but not included in the Tax Agency Taxpayer Register, you can register on your own behalf by entering from the "My files" link, located on the right side of the “Personal area”.When you enter, you will see an incident alert with the message “To deal with the requested service, you must provide additional details.To enter these details now, click Here”:
Clicking "Here" will take you to the "Registration in register of individuals with DNIor NIE", fill in the required details and, once the process is complete, registration will be confirmed.
