Error 403. Google Chrome and Mac OS X with certificate

This is usually a misidentification. It occurs when you try to access an option that requires an electronic certificate and the browser does not detect one installed, it is damaged or it is not selected properly.

If it is an electronic DNI , follow the instructions for "Connection error with electronic DNI on Mac OS X", since the compatible browser would be Mozilla Firefox.

With a software certificate and the Google Chrome browser, you must ensure that the electronic certificate is installed in Keychain Access. To do this, start the "Keychain Access" system application, from "Finder", "Applications", "Utilities". Under "Login", "My Certificates" you can check whether your personal certificate is listed in this store.

If it is not installed in Keychain Access and you have a backup of the certificate to import, go to "Login", "Certificates" and click on "File", "Import Items" or "Import Items", depending on the version.

Select the .p12 or .pfx file with the backup and click "Open". You may need to enter the password that was set when exporting the certificate.

If the import is successful, the certificate will appear in the "Keychain Access".
