Possible errors in the use of the electronic certificate
Skip information indexRevoked certificate
To check if the certificate is valid and has not been revoked, access the issuing entity's page or contact it for more information.
On the FNMT website, the "Check status" option is available in the left side menu, in the "Certificates" section, for both individuals and legal entities. Click on "Request verification".
The browser will ask for the certificate and a response page will appear with the information. If the certificate is correct the message will be "Your certificate has just been verified. "You are in possession of a VALID AND NOT REVOKED Digital Certificate."
If you cannot access the response page ("Page cannot be displayed" appears) or the message indicates that the certificate is expired or revoked (nullified), it means that the electronic certificate is corrupted or no longer valid.
If the certificate is valid but has become corrupted and the status check is not accessible, you can try to import a backup copy of the certificate. If you do not have a valid copy or if the certificate has expired or been revoked, you must request a new electronic certificate.
