The error message "Your certificate will not allow a valid signature to be generated" may pop up if there are expired certificates in the Windows certificate storage. To check this, go to the Windows "Start" button and click "Run" or "Search";type in "certmgr.msc" (without quotation marks) and press "Enter" or "Intro" on the keyboard:
Go to "Personal", "Certificates".
This folder should contain exactly the same certificates that are located in the Internet Explorer options under "Internet Options", "Content", "Certificates", "Personal".
